Terms of Service

1. The service

Overhaul is an AI assisted STEM tool. You describe a hardware idea; we generate printable cardboard templates, wiring diagrams, assembly guidance, and microcontroller code. Output is for education and hobby prototyping. It is not professional engineering, safety certification, or a substitute for adult supervision when working with tools, electricity, or heat.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. The product is designed for ages 12+ in a supervised classroom, homeschool, or workshop setting. If you open an account for a school or workshop, you confirm you have authority to do so and that students use it under your supervision.

3. Accounts

You must provide an accurate email and keep your password (or Google login) secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Notify us if you believe the account is compromised. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, skip payment, or break these terms.

4. Plans, credits, and payment

Free accounts receive a limited number of sends per week. Paid plans and credit packs are billed through Stripe in the amounts shown at checkout. Credits are consumed when the service generates AI output, at the markup described in the product. Credits and unused free sends have no cash value and are not transferable. Subscriptions renew until you cancel. Taxes, if any, are extra where required.

5. Your content

You keep rights to the prompts, photos, and files you upload, and to the templates and code generated for you, to use for personal, educational, or workshop projects. You grant Overhaul a licence to store, process, and display that content as needed to run the service (including sending prompts to AI providers). Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, or that is illegal, harmful, or someone else’s personal data.

6. AI output, no warranty

Generated cutouts, wiring, and code can be wrong, incomplete, or unsafe if followed blindly. You must check wiring, power, and mechanical strength before powering a build. Overhaul and its model providers are not liable for damaged components, injury, or failed projects arising from generated output. The service is provided “as is”.

7. Acceptable use

• No attempting to break, scrape, or overload the service
• No using generated output to harm people or property
• No reselling raw API access or bypassing credit limits
• No impersonating Overhaul or collecting other users’ data

8. Intellectual property

The Overhaul name, site design, and software (other than your content and generated project files) remain ours or our licensors’. You may not copy the product, reverse engineer it except where the law allows, or use our name to imply a partnership we have not agreed in writing.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by Singapore law, Overhaul is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for loss of data, credits, or profits. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, where that rule applies).

10. Changes and termination

We may change the product, prices, or these terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date on this page. We may stop offering a feature or close the service. You may stop using Overhaul at any time. Surviving sections include intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief anywhere if needed to protect the service.
